What about out of town groomsmen?
Contrary to popular belief, one does not have to choose a tux shop that has locations near all the guests. Fitting is very simple, out of town guests will go to their local formalwear store and get a customary fitting. Fitting forms can be obtained from our store or downloaded here. The guest simply mails, faxes or calls in these sizes and their garment is freshly prepared and waiting when they arrive, saving them the hassle of traveling with a delicate garment.
Do I have to pay in advance?
If you like.However we only require a $20 deposit paid at the time of ordering. The balance is paid at the time of pickup.
Do you offer package discounts?
When five or more tuxedos or suits are rented we do offer package discounts. Cannot be combined with other offers. See store for details.
When should I start the tuxedo process?
Arrange for a day four to eight months before the wedding to visit a store and start to get a feel for the styles that suit you most comfortably. Once you have picked out styles, which can be changed if necessary, ideal time to register the wedding is three to six months prior. Keep in mind however this is not a rigid timeline. Whole weddings have come in the weekend of the event and been accommodated because Black Tie Tuxedos has the expertise and in-stock merchandise to create last-minute miracles!
No problem. Many of our customers are not standard sizes. Our extensive inventory allows you to try on a wide variety of tuxedos and suits.
What about hard to fit guests in my party?.
What if my tuxedo needs to be adjusted at the last minute?
Here's where choosing the right tux shop is as important as ever. When working with your formal professionals, you must get the feeling that they are eager to go out of their way to achieve perfection. Of course you must be working with a store having tailoring site on premises and staff trained to do alterations. We usually do any last minute alterations "while you wait" at the time of pick up.
